Sinéad Glynn Ceramics

As part of a group exhibition 'In their Element', I have created work for that references fire in it?s many guises. One of the most important fires burning, that gives this world life, is the Sun. For this particular work ?Sol? I have chosen to repeat the form referencing solar cycles and the firing cycles themselves that change clay into ceramic. The colour refers to the changing colour of heat as it progresses through the firing cycle.
